Cross is hanging with a black screen since updating to El Capitan. Anyone else having this issue?

Uh-oh.

I uninstalled 3.10 and downloaded 3.11.

When I try to run Cross after installing I get an error saying that Cross is damaged and should be moved to trash.

Help!?

Troubleshooting and talking to myself as usual...!

Ok, the install of El Capitan appears to have reset the software install/run security to only allow Apple approved developers. I've reset that and I'm back at the black screen.

Some lines from system.log when I try to start Cross:

Did you try without hardware connected.
Pioneer sent a mail to all users to warn drivers arent ready for quite some devices. Might be the same for others.

No hardware connected. Tried with USB HDD plugged/unplugged. Same result.

Where do I find the "settings" file on a Mac? And/or how do I carry out a total uninstall of all previous config? I'll of course move my library out of the way.

UPDATE: Found a program called AppCleaner (http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/) that deleted 102 Cross files. Tried to reinstall Cross again but the same problem exists.

Aaaaand now I've fixed myself. I am going to get a reputation for these threads where it's only me posting!

Seems the El Capitan upgrade re-enabled "open in 32-bit mode". Upon unticking this under "Get Info", Cross would start again.

Odd thing is, when I drag the app to the dock, this setting is lost, causing the crash once more.

Adding the app to Finder sidebar doesn't cause the issue and neither does creating a shortcut on the desktop.

At least I have two workarounds for the moment.

Just to note that I've also tried with my UMCP2 plugged in and Cross started fine in 64-bit mode too.
