Pioneer CDJ Connecting Error to Cross 3.2.0

Postby chriskazzi on 30 Jun 2014, 10:21

Hello Guys,

During the weekend I had a gig and I have installed Cross 3.2.0 version, so during sound check I plugged 2 Pioneer CDJs to my PC and I opened the software, I pressed link on the CDJ in order to set Cross settings, both screens on CDJs displayed connecting, and they never connected, I restarted my PC several times and I checked the Software version of both CDJs and it was up to date!!

Any idea how can I solve this issue ?

Thanks a lot..
Chris

Hey

Thank you for the prompt reply, its Pioneer CDJ 2000, and OS is Win 8.1 Enterprise edition.
As for other info i couldn't work on Cross as it didn't see both CDJs, both screens kept displaying connecting as if there is something blocking their way to reach the software.
Also unfortunately i don't have pair of CDJs to try them :(

Thanks alot

Had a similar problem on friday using 2 CDJ 2000 in HID mode. the CDJ's connected fine and could control Cross just fine. But when I tried to use them as sound card, Aggregated or one at a time I got an error saying they were used by some other program and I needed to stop that program for them to work. I tried several times rebooting, deleting the aggregated device making a new one. I could not get it to work so I ended up driving home to get my DDJ SX. At first I thought I could have been that I swooped my main hard drive with a new bigger one. I used SuperDuper to move all files from old to new so I should be 100% copy.

I'm using a Macbook with OS x 10.9.3 Cross 3.2
2 weeks ago I used the exact same setup only smaller HD and 3.1 and everything worked perfect. I don't know when I can test a setup like this again as the club closed after the weekend. It was the only club that had CDJ installed in my country.
