Re: Vfx questions

Thanks for the directions.
When I disconnected the Toshiba dynadock (which is not just a physical dock, but also e.g. adds a screen) the "not started" message was replaced by "not compatible", but works.
In case you need more details, this is what I found at HP about the PC:
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 integrated graphics
see PC specs list : http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.asp ... 115EEE.pdf
and some detailed info about the graphics card (at page 42): http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quic ... 029_na.pdf

I also tested using a virtual additional screen (MaxiVista). This also had the "..not started" as result.

Please let me know if my specs do not meet Vfx requirements so I know I have to modify the hardware, or if that I have the specs that you are willing to make it work for.

Hello
It's said everywhere on this forum that Vfx is NOT compatible with Intel graphic cards.
So you'd better use another machine to be sure Vfx runs correctly.

OK; i added an ATI card.posting.php?mode=reply&f=259&t=17309# :!: After that it was working fine however crashing often. THE Vfx Uninstall apparently was not to much of a success. posting.php?mode=reply&f=259&t=17309#Many (Vfx) files in mydocs and prog fol were not uninstalled. So a manual clean up and than reinstall lead to a stable version. posting.php?mode=reply&f=259&t=17309#Now only changing settings sometimes results in a crash. Given the history of Vfx I assume it is just related to the Demo version restrictions posting.php?mode=reply&f=259&t=17309#(e.g. changing skin or nr of decks).
