basic test again 16A and 16B with TESt16 file

Test16A
Deck 1 in CUE Mode
CUE mode button should be blue - Yes

Press ROLL mode
Expected result:
CUE mode stays on blue - No colour
ROLL mode blinks blue - Turn Turquoise and does not blink

Press ROLL a second time to turn mode off
Expected result:
CUE mode stays on blue - Yes
ROLL mode turns off - Yes

Test16B
Deck 1 in CUE Mode
CUE mode button should be blue - Yes

Press SAMPLER mode
Expected result:
CUE mode stays on blue - Yes
SAMPLER mode blinks blue - No colour (Pads lit yellow except pad 4 Off the second time I did this test pad 8 was off instead)

Press SAMPLER a second time to turn mode off
Expected result:
CUE mode stays on blue -Yes
SAMPLER mode turns off - yes ( Was off anyway from first sampler mode test last paragraph)

I know this is repetitive but is also necessary.
Same test with TEST17 file except that instead of blinking I expect a steady on or off. Don't know what color so please let me know.

Don't worry about the pad colors now, I need to get the mode buttons lights up correctly 1st

What is throwing me off track is that second time we need to press the button turn switch back to CUE mode.

I can get the pads to do whatever but the modes buttons have two command address and two LEDs each.
The SAMPLER button is got 3 command and 3 LEDs.

Press SAMPLER a second time to turn mode off
Expected result:
CUE mode stays on blue -Yes
SAMPLER mode turns off - Still no colour (Same as last test)


What is throwing me off track is that second time we need to press the button turn switch back to CUE mode. ( as many times as we need to do this to discover all mode sequences)

Sorry for all the trouble. - Great job considering the way we are doing this, I Am impressed and with you taking the time to help us MCX Users. no need to apologies I understand what you/we need to do, so as many times as need be, I am not sure if the Traktor Tsi mapping file would shed any light on the matter, but I do have this file/code it may give you something to go off ?

MCX8000Test20.mappings

For test 20 lets go with a different premise.

Before We started in CUE Mode then switch to ROLL mode by pressing ROLL.
To turn of ROLL mode we pressed ROLL mode a second time but it hasn't work so far.

How about assuming that we are OK to turn on ROLL mode but it takes 2 presses to turn off.

So the test goes likes this.

Start as always in CUE mode
Press ROLL to turn the ROLL mode on

What is the CUE mode button doing? On? If it is on, what color? or off?
What is the ROLL mode button doing? On? If it is on, what color? or off?

Now press the ROLL mode button twice.

After the two presses

What is the CUE mode button doing? On? If it is on, what color? or off?
What is the ROLL mode button doing? On? If it is on, what color? or off?

Same test for sampler mode

Sorry for any delay my PC has decided to fix my secondry harddrive been at it for a few hours now and not sure how long may be some hours yet. I will pm you when I have completed next test. I have laptop in othe room but no space for controller at present, but if harddrive repair takes much longer I will do my best to sort out laptop setup.
