Not to confuse matters but I have tested map7 although when loading it says 6 .

but these are my findings for this map
Deck 1 all Pad colours working when adding hot cues, then deleted all but pads 1 (sky blue ) + pad 2 (Bright green) stayed lit but all hot cues themselves deleted okay, I then tried to delete those remaining two and they locked out.
I then selected another pad in this case pad 3 purple and it added that hot cue and pads 1 + 2 colours then went off.

the next time I repeated adding and removing hot cues pads 1 + 5 stayed on after deletion.
the hot cues added refused delete except using the gui locator delete, then on other times all the pads stayed lit when using the s+pad but all locators/hotcues deleted.

also when testing the secondry cue function (lit Bright green) and adding locaters in that cue mode i mentioned that the primary function for the hot cue button (Blue) pads would stay lit, while when checking the Secondary cue mode function, all pads went off
. Not tested all the decks yet, but can do if need be, but think it would take me some time to figure out all these patterns and variations .

But I see you updated Map 07 so will go and test this first thing tomorrow (Mapping 10), sorry I need to catch up but trying.

For now and just to stay on track. When you come back just test version 10. What I am looking for on this one is for proper operation of the locators set and shift for delete.

If someone could take a picture of them all lit up it will help me determine if I chose the correct values to match the color to what Cross color set is.

I found a way to make the additional functions work but I rather hold on until we are that what we have so far is working correctly before I proceed.

The controller does not appear to have hardware switching for the pads except for the channel so the software has to perform the switching functions.

I confirm these same colours for all 4 decks,
Adding Locators okay,
removing locaters okay,
and all locators are behaving as they should after rigorous testing between all 4 decks.

Although as you are aware the pad colours do not go out, until I press any deck select button, for future reference.

I am now just going to spend the next four hours testing all else that has been done so far as well as getting my track playlists ready for xmas  but will check in at regular 1/2 to hour intervals here, just a pity I keep having to update this page to see newer posts, but if you need any testing no harm in sending quick PM as I have that set to pop up.

and just to mention to any onlookers if you happen to have an arturia Beatstep pro I have found that these encoder pots are great for the sampler roll (Loop Brace) and other functions that will not be added to this controller fully at present if at all their is enough option on the MCX to accommodate. so I am also going to map the BSP over next few days, but if any one would like the use of 2 x 4 sample pads via the MCX I can quite easily add this before xmas (as I have a good accessible system to keep us happy over xmas and new year and depending on what FigDj will be able to map or will be mapping etc .

Again I will say FigDJ this is really supreme!!!! that you can find time to help, because it can not be a short process and without you xmas would not be as fun when it comes to djing with Cross and Cross DJ for the MCX users.

One last question FigDJ am I correct in thinking that MIDI ch 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 are spare on the MCX for other controllers ?

Thanks in advance

Just to be clear. Example
On deck 1
Any number of pads lit up for the locators. When you press Shift + pad to delete the locator (cue point) the LED does not go out but the locator is deleted. Is that correct? Then if you press the #1 deck select button the LEDS go out correctly?

According to the MIDI table they are not in use.

Also, I know that PMs is probably better but I am trying to keep the testing open to anyone that may want to join us.
