My settings are supposed to be like this right?

Audio device: Xone 23C
48000Hz
Buffer size : 512 samples (10.7 ms)

Input1: Output 1:
Input 1/Input 2 Output 1/ Output 2
0db phono

Input 2: Output 2:
Input 3/ Input 4 Output 3/ Output 4
0db phono

Aux Input: Output 3:
None None

Output 4:
None

Enable limiter:
off

Routing mode:

is this correct for my setup? krk monitors, 2 technics turntables, xone 23c mixer & macbookpro using Cross LE to record a regular vinylONLY set(NOT TIMECODE)

uhm, my computer is connected via a usb cable with my xone mixer and my monitors are also connected with my mixer. I don't see any coloured bars in Cross LE when i'm connected while playing a record. I only see a signal in my preferences in the Vinyl/CD section @ control deck 1 when i'm also playing a record @ input 1, so that seems to be correct

another thing my input 3/4 shows a signal in my preferences in Cross LE in control deck 1, how is that possible, it should give a signal to control deck 2...

If your inputs go to the wrong deck you have to switch cables, or select the other inputs.

If you want to record using External mixer, you need to send a master output signal from your mixer to the aux. Then you can record the aux by selecting it in preferences.

You can use the ASIO4All (virtual) soundcard to join the external soundcard with your pc-internal soundcard (or use a different soundcard).

Your sampling rate usually is better at 44100, unless you have a good technical reason to have it 48000. Basically only reason would be that you have a majority of tracks at this rate, which isn't to likely.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).
