Cross DJ Search Settings + Behringer CMD Studio 4a

Hello all... I currently use Virtual DJ 8 to DJ but i am seriously considering of buying Cross DJ bcs i tried it and realy liked it.. There are 2 things i want to ask though first..

1) When i search for a song or a band it will only show me the songs of that band in current folder not in my whole hard drive. Virtual DJ scans the whole hard drive instead. Is there any option of doing that on Cross DJ (No matter in what folder i am in, to scan the whole hard drive when i am looking for a song)???

2) Is there a mapping for Behringer CMD Studio 4a or do i have to make one manually??

You cannot do a search in the file tree.
However if you add a root folder to Cross Collection all subfolders willl also be added to the collection.
Within the collection you can search anything at a speed that can't be reached using a file system approach.

you might want to download the free vers and maybe the demo version ,, will give you the feel of the file system in place in Cross,, will help you make your selection

So if i add a root folder to Cross Collection will that collection automatically update if i add more songs to the folders on my destop?? Or will i have to add all new songs to the collection manually from within the program?????

No automatic update for the simple reason that you can use multiple collections in Cross if you like.

A simple drag of your new folder from e. G the explorer also does the job.
