Cross won't run!! 3rd time had to delete "settings"-file

Hey guys,

this is the third time allready I had to delete the settings-file because my Cross 2.6 won't run... Sometimes when this happens, I can make it run under admin-rights, but sometimes not at all.

Then I have to delete that settings-file in the folder and it runs again.

But then I allways have to re-analyse my music... Getting tired of this!!!

What could be causing this???

I rather not update to 3.3.11. I tried this one, but I don't like the look of the waveforms in this version... In 2.6 the waveforms are much more "clearer". Or is this just a setting I can change???

You're not alone in the opinion that the new waves have more cons than pro's.

When you delete the settings file the new created file will point to the same default folder for analysis files. If you use you own location you have change it before using the tracks.

The collection holds the reference to the analysis files, so if you use the same collection and didn't delete the analysis folder it shouldn't have to reanalyse.

It's not clear what could cause your root problem. Maybe you can specify some more what happens when Cross doesn't start.
