Adding tracks to Cross is - Mission Impossible...???

Postby Paul Savateev on 05 May 2016, 20:15

From few week i noticed that - i can't import tracks anymore... i tried all options, but the only one way to do that is ONE BY ONE ?
All this starts when i wanted to add tracks from my folders ( drag & drop ) and this become even harder now...
The windows is fresh install.. 3 months. Do 8 need to re-install Cross ??? :(

Have you tried dropping via explorer on the node called 'collection'?

Alternative is via the menu, add folder.

Normally Cross adds the folder and all subfolders.

In the past there were some occasions where 'special characters' caused some trouble, but it hasn't been reported for a long time, so 3.3.11 not likely has this problem.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Could be a Windows thing too, in theory at least. Your case reminds me of what happened to me after fresh W10 install when I could not drag & drop files, not even folders on MP3Tag editor. Cannot remember what did the trick but it might have had something to do with user/admin rights.
