Adjustable Start & Stop Time Alias Fade-In/Fade-Out Markers

Postby Picaso on 17 Mar 2016, 20:40

Hi folks :)

I just bought Cross DJ and first of all I must say THANK YOU! After a lot of work I put into choosing the "perfect" software for my workflow I came across Traktor, Serato and rekordbox. And you guys are really listening to your customers building a high quality product :)

I'm a Salsa DJ, so I don't need fancy Effects or Beatmatching Algorithms :) But what I need is a perfect library allowing me to find the best songs quickly. Also a highquality Keylock to pitch some of my tunes to a more danceable speed. You guys made that possible!!!

Now here comes the question. In certain locations I don't need to watch the music all the time so I'd like to use Auto-Play funcion. On the full feature list of CrossDJ PC/MAC you mention Adjustable Start and Stop Time... But I can't manage to find those options. I checked Software/Forum and Documentation but can't figure it out.

I hope you guys can help me with this! :)
Thanks again,
Pablo

Hi Pablo, welcome to mixvibes.

The start/stop time you noticed is in Preferences > General. These are the players Start/Brake times.

For autoplay however these have no function.

Autoplay uses Auto Cross Fade time.
It end the fade time before the end of track. The moment the fade time starts the next track starts at the Cue point.

Hi Ronald,

thanks for your reply although it's not what i wanted to hear :/

Well I guess I can use the first cue point to skip intro's in automix and also for normal mode to remeber the song had a intro. However, a Fade-Out marker is not yet possible. Am I correct?

I think I would then submit a feature request...
