Did you use the same usb port.

I use the same usb port with the U-Mix 44 1.0.4 driver.
I have the turntables phono connected to the U-Mix input, and the output connected to the mixer.

Is usb port v2 or v3
Which Cross version
Does your tt have line out
If you register your license key of Cross you can download a current version.
