DVS7 Error while installing

Hello. I brought a copy of mixvibes DVS Ultimate a couple of years ago and recently wiped my computer. i went to install it again today and came across the error

Error file C:\Program Files (x86)\MixvibesDVS7\ProfUIS282n.dll not found in distribution

Can anyone help me? is it my installation disc that could be damaged and if so what can i do without having to buy a new program

Not likely a damage to the CD as this most of times results in an error message during install.

Please be aware that support for DVS7 stopped many years ago, so if you installed it at e.g. w10 it might be that there is a problem there.

If a dll did not install for some reason you could try running the install once more as an administrator (even when having administrator credentials).

Yes the error did come up during install.

And I'm still running it on Windows 7 just an updated computer.

Will try install again as an administrator and see what happens.
