OSX 10.8.5 Cross DJ 3.3.10 U-Mix Control Pro 1.0.3
Hi there,
I played with the Cross DJ Free on my MAC and found it really easy to use sand ideal for DJ'ing from my iTunes library at a little party we are having this weekend. I looked around for a place to buy a Control Pro 2, but everywhere in the UK seemed to be out of stock. I found a unit on EBAY but when I received it it was missing the license key from the software disk. It appears to work fine and will master the virtual faders and knobs on but Cross DJ free and Cross DJ.
The headphones did not work with Cross DJ free but I understand this is normal.
As I wanted to use the headphones I bought a new license of Cross DJ and now have this installed on my MAC. After reading other posts I changed the audio preferences to dual stereo but so far I still have no headphone output or more worryingly any output through the phono cable from output 1/2 to the PA system.
If I switch back to the internal soundcard of the mac I can use the unit to Cross fade between tracks but obviously the whole point of buying the unit was to get headphones working to cue tracks up and if possible I want to be able to use the external input also.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Many thanks for any help you can give!
Rob

Thanks, have registered the license key. Don't know if its because I'm using firefox but I can't see any option in the dialogue box for a new post to attach a screenshot. Where do you do this?

You should have the option to upload at the bottom of a reply you do. If after a ff restart it still isn't there you best mail support@mixvibes.com. The U-Mix Control Pro doesn't have phono out, only line out. However it might be you intend to describe the rca(/cinch) cable. Pretty important to never send Line out to a Phono input as it can blow the port due to higher voltage. From the download section you can upgrade to the latest version of Cross DJ, 3.3.11. Try connecting to a usb 2 port. Try using Cross in 32bit mode.

Thanks Ronald,
Sorry yes meant line out (I think of those connectors as phono connectors but you are quite correct)
I have the 3.3.11. No joy. How do you set the app into 32 bit?
Many thanks,
Rob

OK,
Got it in 32 bit mode but still the same. ;o(
Wondering if the hardware itself may be duff..
Still can't see an option to attach imaged otherwise I would upload a screenshot (perhaps I've not go it configured right), quite possible).
Thanks for help so far.

Thanks Ronald,
I had a look at my USB device tree and its showing the Control Pro in there with a device speed of up to 480MBps so that would be USB 2 speed. I would upload the screenshot of that also but for the life on me I can't see where on the forum you are supposed to attache files and images.
Weird!
I bet its something simple that I haven't enabled somewhere along the line.
I'll email support but the party starts in earnest tonight at around 7ish. Guess we'll just have to do it without headphones via the built in soundcard at this rate. Its not the Ministry of Sound (just 40 or so mates for a milestone birthday) but it would have been nice to have had it working having spent the $$.
Thanks for your help.
