U-Mix Control Pro - headphones not playing cue

Hello all,

After being wowed by the Cross DJ Free app from the Apple app store, I recently purchased a new U-Mix Control Pro for my MacBook Pro running Yosemite. So far everything is working fantastic except that I can not figure out how to get the headphones cue to work. When I select the A or B cue buttons on the U-Mix no signal will play thru the headphone jacks on the front panel. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance !! :?:

In preferences_ audio select Dual Stereo as routing mode.

Then you have additional knob faders at right top.

Cue fader for volume. Mix fader to get Main into headphone if you like.

Thanks for this response. Call me crazy, but I don't see anything in the preferences that you are referring to regarding "routing mode / dual stereo" There are only 4 selections present... INPUT 1, INPUT 2, AUX INPUT and OUPUT 1. Perhaps this is not a feature of Cross DJ Free 3.2.3 (64bit) ?

If so, can I use my serial number that came with my U-Mix Control Pro purchase to upgrade ? The included CDROM only provided an install of Cross DJ 1.5.4. Thanks again !! :confused:

I didn't realize you were still on Free version. This has no Cue feature.

You need to register the LE version key that came with the U-Mix Control Pro (unless it's a second hand). After registering you can open the downloads section for the most recent LE version.

Then read my earlier post once more.... :cool:

Fantastic ! Thanks so much. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind !

I just went thru the process of registering the software that came with my new U-Mix Control Pro purchase (Cross DJ 1.5.4) and I've searched thru the downloads section of the forum, however I'm not seeing the most recent Cross DJ LE you suggested. Can you assist with a direct link or perhaps point me in the right direction ? Thanks !! :biggrin:

It's all in the name... You have a Cross DJ license according to your software badge. This has more features than the Cross LE. Most practical is that you can use multiple MIDI controllers and the controllers don't have to be connected to be able to use Cross DJ.

Excellence! Thank you so much for lending your tech knowledge. I've downloaded the new Cross DJ (3.3.10) and immediately I can see why I was greatly confused by the Free version. :rolleyes:
