Can't watch youtube when Cross is open

Not really a problem, but thought it's worth mentioning.

When I have youtube open in internet explorer and simultaneously have Cross running (even just at idle doing nothing with it), I get the youtube error message. This goes away when I shut down Cross and reload the youtube video. Using a Lenovo Yoga 11s 8GB RAM and Core M 5y10C.

Great you mention it, but some details are missing...

which OS do you use, which browser do you use, do you have vids running in Cross, if not is video enabled, are you using deck A and B only, are you using 'normal' length/quality vids or very long. Using Cross 64bit or 32.

And maybe the message....

I'm using windows 10, internet explorer and Cross 64 is idle doing nothing when this happens!

the message on the youtube player is:

"An error has occured. Please try again later."

An there is a static effect on it too :P

I've test it with Microsoft Edge and Firefox without a problem. Cross is running and videos from youtube are playing fine at the same time. My O.S is Win 10 Pro 64bit.

Seems to be getting more technical as Minos can only duplicate his own problem.

Might it be a sound card sharing issue.
If not, is it for varies file types or only a specific type (in Cross). Still wouldn't make to much sense as Cross uses it's own decoders, but as long as it can't be pinpointed....

Hi guys, just tried it again, was watching a youtube clip and then fired up Cross and as soon as i got the asio4all popup on the bottom right i got the same error message stopping the video.

aha! found the culprit, i changed the sound output in Cross back to realtek speakers and not asio4all and youtube worked again! it was the soundcard as ronald suggested thanks for replies guys
