probléme geminidj firstmix DJ MIDI controller

bonjour a tous.
Je possède une gemini DJ firstmix DJ MIDI controller ainsi que le logiciel mixvibes Cross DJ le.
Mon problème est qu'une fois le logiciel installer sur mon PC portable qui fonctionne sous Windows 8.1 je ne peux pas utlisier le controlleur branché par usb.
J'ai testé sur une tour d'ordinateur fonctionnant sous win7 est la tout fonctionne normalement.
Ma question est donc de savoir si je dois revenir a Windows 7
sur mon PC portable? ou s'il existe un pilote/ driver compatible avec windows8.
