Can't launch Cross DJ in Windows 7

Hi all

I got the U-Mix Control Pro 2 but I can't launch Cross DJ 2 or 3 on Windows 7. It'll run on Windows 8 but not on 7.
I was having issues on 8 until I downloaded the volume controller but that hasn't fixed the issues on Windows 7.

Any ideas?

might be an issue with mixvibes.settings file in user profile. rename or delete it and try again.
You will only loose your preferences.

Thanks for our reply. I deleted the program & reinstalled but that didn't help.

Where do I find the "mixvibes.settings file" as I can't seem to find it.

are you saying the software will not start or are you saying the the controller will not connect on win 7

Reinstall does not help for this.
In explorer you have to make hidden files visible. In user folder search for .settings and likely you'll find it.

If this doesn't help details as asked by Daniel are needed.

To Daniel: The program won't launch, the circle goes around like normal but disappears, have looked at it in Task Manager and the .exe file just disappears/closes

To Rojec: I have made hiddens files visible but still no luck in finding that file.

in w8 it is
c:\[users]\[your user name]/appdata/roaming/mixvibes/MixVibes.settings

Don't know exact for W7. Must be like this.
If Cross starts and stops while starting this most likely is the solution.
