How to update MixVibes Cross 1.2.1?

Hello,

I want to update the MixVibes Cross 1.2.1 version. When I click on the update buton in the program appears only a mac version on your site. But I need the windows version. In the forum I found already a link at least to the 1.3.2 windows version. But when I click on the link it apears "Access denied! You have no rights to do this! Please enter your serial number in your user control panel."

The product key is already entered. On this site I am already registered. So what to do to update the program? What is mean with control panel?

Hi Mario,

In the right column, below Board Index you have the link to the User Control Panel.
Enter the serial number and after saving your credentials should automatically be adjusted so you have access to the Downloads section.

If you haven't really used the old version I recommend to uninstall the 1.2.1 version first and after this install 3.3.11 as there are quite some years in between....

You have on the Right side above User Control Panel.

* Register your software (User Control Panel > Profile > Serial Number)

Than you got access to the Download section.

There you can download the newest Version 3.3.11 for win or Mac

Oh thanx a lot! Now it works.

But in this version I have en issue: when I try to set a cue point it was always catched at the next beatgrid mark. Regardless switching the beatgrid on or off.

How to disable this?

You can't make the analyses putting the Cue at a different position. It will always be 'smart'.

If you want it different permanently you have to do so manually.
1. move track wave to wanted position (no playback). Press Cue button
2. move track wave to wanted position (no playback). Press C key
3. while playback press Shift-C at wanted position.

Be aware of the Snap feature to determine the position the Cue can be snapped to (I usually have 1/2 beat).

The algorithm is set to provide a continuous flow of music. Some music, like longer intro's may require some change. However my experience is that it first of all is little effort. I always check my Cue (unless I get distracted...) as it depends on the situation if I need the beginning, the first beat or even the 'power' start after the intro.
Usually I have a locator (hot cue) to help me set the Cue position.

Ah, o.k. Then it is the snap in feature. How to set a normal cue point I already knowed. I war only surprised that it catches always the next beat of the beatgrid. I have also found the buton to disable this. Unfortunately it's only disabled till the next song. But I think that's how it is. Then I will look for an earlyer version since I have no benefit from this feature. Thanx anyway!

Just found the snap buton. First I thought it's only posible to disable the beatgrid case-by-case, but there is an dedicated snap buton in the upper part:)

Maybe you could quickly go through the manual to have a glance of the features. Though manual doesn't contain latest added features.
