Hello - we have been using MIXVIBES within church services for some time… we started with the free version which work great for a while! Then had an issue where the Side A would stay in even when the fader was set to Side B. We purchased the paid version of MIXVIBES and it worked correctly for the last 4 months… then this morning we had the same issue with Side A staying in even when fader is set to Side B.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Derek

Thank you @RoJeC for the quick response! I appreciate the direction. RoJeC wrote:Quick guess is that you have the cue channel activated and via the mix fader have the cue routed into main
Would you be able to provide additional details on how to check if this is the issue? We are using the software interface for mixing tracks, and have no additional hardware for mixing. Could you explain where to check to see if the cue channel is activated? And how to deactivate? Thank you!! Derek

your description is kinda confusing by its description ,, look at the top right corner of the gui and three knobs ,,,middle is cue/mix ,, allows cue channel to play in the master ,,knob should be fully counter clockwise ,,,,if thats not the issue explain further ,,lacking info /understanding by the info /description ,, in order to get free updates to your paid software please regerster the software licence key in the fourm ,,,user control panel/profile/serial #,,this also safley stores this info in a secure spot for retrival later if lost or misplaced ,,,,hope this help in getting the software back functional if not further info will be needed ,, seems particular that only effects side a ,,if the solution suggested then side b would still be audiable when side a is Cross faded also ,,,,what have you tried to do to get it correct ,,

Sorry - I'm a little new to this. Here is some additional information:
We have to paid version of MixVibes (I couldn't locate a software version, but I believe we have the up to date version).
We have up to four tracks available but we never use more than two. So our screen is always set to "2" (it only displays side A and Side B).
The issue is that when a track in the left side (Side A) is playing it is heard even when the fader is fully set to the right (Side B).
I have reviewed the following in an attempt to resolve the issue: It was suggested that this might be an issue with the cue setting for pulling in a preview track. I have adjusted the "Mix" and "Cue" knobs (located at the top right of the screen), but this hasn't resolved the issue. I have also tried adjusting the "Preview" knob in the lower right section of the screen (in the track preview section). I haven't had any luck with changing these setting.
I have also looked around in the General settings… I have tested different options in the "Crossfader Curve" field. No matter what I set it to it is as if the Side A stays in even when Cross fading to side B.
We do not use FX1 or FX2 so the "Amount" & "Depth" for both are set all the way to the left. Any additional direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you again for your support!

give me a chance to re read your postings to get the jist again of your problem ,, are thease screen shots from Cross free or the paid version of Cross DJ/Cross ,, dont see any version header in your screen shots , will double check the settings as to mine ,, the posting has no info as to any related hardware ,, are you useing the onboard sound card installed in your computer the settings mentioned to check seem to be in proper order ,, double check the cue/master knob ,, try rotating clockwise just for fun and check what the outcome ,, the little arrow along side the Cross fader is a automatic fade and are you useing this, try this to see that the fader is fully left or right , let me know ,, also regerster the software licence key in the fourm ,,to get latest version of your software ,

Indeed, both letters A and B should be highlighted, assigning them to the crossfader. If they are not highlighted, the crossfader is effectively not used and only the upfaders control the volume.
Simple fix!
