Your assumptions are right. Once your license key is registered (and best would be to save it yourself as well) you can download the software and the updates.
The items you refer to are provided by the company that handles the transaction, not by mixvibes. This is a general 'service' this/these companies deliver in case the software company would disappear somehow.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Thnx Ronald,

So as long as i"ve got the license key i"m good. With this key i can always download the software even after a few yrs or a total PC crash and for as long as mixvibes stays a player in djing software and provides the download link on there website.

Can't confirm your statement to the full, but to give you a recent example is that the previous product was present for user download until 5 years after discontinuation.

Best would be to keep a copy of both latest install file as well as your key (and of course a back up of your collection and tracks)...

BTW the Cross Mac/PC license may be installed at 2 devices...

Will do !
I really liked the software from the start, the only thing that kept me from buying is the mapping. Bcuz that's gonna b a pain in the ass ... full controller mapping for my Reloop beatmix2 a a compleet noob :frown:
If it would only have an engine in it

For now i've got it mapped so i could get a feel for it.

We'll see if i get it sorted out ;)

Cheers J
