Cross 3.1.1

Postby SOUK on 15 Jul 2015, 21:48

Bonjour à tous,

voici ma config pour info :
intel I7 CPU 950
3.07GHZ
12 Go RAM
windows 7 PRO 64 bits
Je mix sur platine vinyles avec timecode.
Carte son tc electonics TWIN MPACT
Latence 2.7 ms

Merci d'avance.

Possibly the start/stop duration was modified somehow.

thank's for reply but after checking the fader are fully left...
I precise that it's not exactly the sound which is playing that I heard after the stop but this is like a crackle. But there is no crackle when the sound play, only at the end or the beginning of a sound / scratch

Also, the same things happens when I remove the diamond from the vinyl or when I put it on the vinyl ...

Other proposition or check point please ?

Sincerely

I'm not to knowledgeable on tc. But you may add some info for those who are (though it might be they immedialtely know...)

- You use Cross vinyl?
- you have calibrated?
- you have checked cables to be clean (no dust)
- you have disabled input monitoring

Do you have the same issue with Cross 3.3.10?

Yes,

I got a problem of crackle noise at every start / stop of the vinyl,

It also happens when I remove the diamond from the vinyl or when I put it on the vinyl ...

Do you understand my problem ?

Thank you,

Compris (is this right?)

Is it a white noise or something like that or is it because of the record moving slightly?

yes its a like white noise or like a crackle
The vinyl is no longer mooving but there is anyway a sound during approximately 1/2 second after the stop of the vinyl ...
Also the sound happens when the diamond leave the vinyl

Or when I scratch ... When the vynil is mooving there is no problem

Than'x
