As complete newbie the lack of documentation and maybe English as foreign language didn't allow me to clearly understand what you was talking about.
I did even search on Google what does mean "vid samplers" when you wrote to me, and nothing let me understand what was nor the fact only the full version does have that.
Working for a NPO we didn't have money to waste, hope Mixwibe will find some useful proposal.

Yes of course I looked at the detailed comparison, but as stated I'm a complete newbie, even if not an audiovideo primer, never worked with any DJ-like software nor did I have any clue what a sampler is, so even if I did know what I want I didn't know what this is named into this kind of sw specs.
I discovered sampler use just trying and pushing buttons inside the Cross demo, after discovering the Blend option (the name clicked in my mind from my also limited knowledge of 3D and Vfx sw) I think Eureka! this is the feature I need, but I did not understand was named video sampler.
Unfortunately I also didn't know I was using the Full demo version, also the names confused me: Cross DJ Free, Cross DJ, Cross...normally more features mean a longer, not shorter name.
Anyway will wait for Mixvibes answer to my request, for sure I will not buy the Full license at that price (didn't have anything against right priced sw, is simply a waste of money for my needs) and will use Cross DJ as Cross DJ Free + Video plugin and stop.

In the meantime: there is any way to customize the "Next Track" behavior in Autoplay so that the crossfader function is used.
Right now when I push Next Track there is a immediate shift to next video in autoplay, without any automatic transition.

Preferences / autofade duration might be what you're looking for.

Already tried this one, but it only affect video and not audio, audio of the next track will always start immediately without any delay.
In fact what I need is the first track fade out first to zero and only after the second track fade in.
This is possible?

I also did find in the Preferences some options I didn't find covered in the manual: Players Start Time and Brake Time, what does it mean? Can help for this needs?

Focus Cross is to have a continuous flow. If you want fade out to '0' you have to do it manually e.g. by deck fader. Same for fade in.

Player start and stop settings are not related. Don't use it until you master basics and come to the level of using this when have a need for it.

Ok tomorrow first live test.
There is a way to
- separate video and audio control in autoplay crossfade
- also separate video and audio into volume control
About the second point I discovered lowering the output level for one channel (i.e. A) not only lower sound volume but also fade video to higher transparency. Did want to lower only audio without affect video.

 under the crossfader is a icon that look like a chain link ,, link the audi fader and the video fader ,,un link then allows for seperate control
also by highlighting the letters by the Cross fader links the players to the fader or not ,,
