Editing the Duration of songs

Postby StaceV on 31 May 2015, 07:26

I recently got a macbook pro and it works amazing with the mixvibes application but some of the exact same songs I had on my old computer (when i was using windows) are now not displaying any duration of the songs.
It doesn't seem to help if I reload the songs or analysing them.
Can I edit the duration manually in the application?
Has anyone else had this issue?

Thank you

Just to be sure you mean the duration field in the track rack is visible but has no value...
This is odd. It can't be edited. It's supposed to be the value as present in the tag of the track file.
Analysis doesn't do anything with this field.
what Cross version do you use and can you read the tag with an other app at your mac. Is it specific to a file type or some albums.

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Thank you RoJeC for replying so promptly I wasn't expecting that.
The songs didn't have anything in common, they were even loaded in different playlists on different days and were even different file types. It seemed very odd that some songs showed the duration but other songs didn't.

I finally worked out if I delete every song and then re-add them from iTunes it was finally working. So i spend a good day and have deleted and re added every song that had the issue. It was a bit of a waste of time but it's working now so I can't complain.

Once again thank you for responding so quickly RoJeC.
