Crashing EVERY time I use

i bought Cross DJ after using the demo, which you cant even really use so whatever but i bought it, with my money, and i expected for it to work. however, everytime i start it up, it works for maybe a minute, and then it becomes unresponsive. can you fix this somehow because i tried everything and it pisses me off how i pay good money for something and it doesnt even work. I have the newest version of Mac and i use the Vestax Typhoon.

what version are you useing ,, by regerstering the software licence key in the fourm then you have acess to the download section , need info as to your set up and particulars ,,so be able to help you figure it out

I'm also having the same problem. How can I get access to the 32-bit version? I bought the application through the Mac App Store. Do I get a license code through the App Store? I have been using it for only a day now and suddenly it's been crashing all the time. Can't even use it. I don't have any MIDI controllers hooked up to it. Just been using it straight from the laptop. Oh, and I use a macbook air running OS X Yosemite if that even helps. Thank you

For registering check the link in my signature.
Right click the icon to select option for 32bit startup though if you are using a current Mac and you haven't used external hardware at all this is not likely to help.

If the 32bit has the same behaviour it could be your mixvibes.settings file is corrupt. Rename it and restart Cross. Use 32bit first to 3xclude 64bit problems. After this try the 64bit.

You would only use 32bit version if you have hardware like soundcard or MIDI controller that comes with 32bit driver.

The path is some like this in W8 terms
C:\users/username/appdata/roaming/mixvibes/

This file only holds settings. No collection data.

I just sent my receipt from the mac app store to you guys for a license key. I was wondering how long does it take for me to get the license key? I really want to use the 32-bit version and start mixing because my program keeps on crashing.

Usually a few days.

You do have the 32bit installed as well. Both versions are installed by the single install.
Not a Mac user myself but have been told that it's just a matter of right click the start icon to be able to select the 32bit mode.

Could you also please tell how the other suggestions worked out.

Hey RoJeC!!!!

I FOUND THE SOLUTION TO THE CRASH!!! Well sort of a solution. So every time I go to my applications folder on my mac, I double click on the Cross DJ icon/application like any other person would do to use an application. It always crashed for me. BUT I tried to do what you said which was right click on the icon to use the 32-bt version. I couldn't find that option. So instead I clicked on the "show package contents." It led me to the contents folder, then after I clicked on that I got multiple folders. I clicked on the MacOS folder and it showed me a file called Cross DJ that can only be opened with terminal. I opened that file and then in a few seconds later Cross DJ was fully working again like new. So far this is the only solution I've found to the 64-bit crash. If this method fails, I will tell you.
