Gemini First Mix Pro and Cross DJ LE Not working

I have two windows 7 64bit machines and I have not been able to get Cross DJ LE to recognize my Gemini First Mix Pro controller. I have tried multiple USB ports and I even bought a new USB 2.0 PCI card and dedicated it just to the Gemini First Mix Pro. I have read through all of the forums and done everything suggested. I did get the software to recognize the controller once but I could not get it to do it again. Is this a known problem?

WHich version of Cross are you using.
It isn't a known issue.
Only thing you could do is removing the mixvibes.settings file.
Location in a path that looks like (W8 example)
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mixvibes\

Maybe the controller manufacturer has newer drivers/firmware.

I'm on Cross LE 2.60

Windows 7 professional x64

windows AND Cross detect my Gemini Firstmix pro and allow me to configure i/o on it but it won't light up and buttons on it don't work

SOLVED!!!!!!

OK I have managed to work a solution!!!

I connected my Gemini Firstmix pro and configured it as normal then opened Cross DJ le and confirmed that the device was recognized. I still couldn't get it to light up but the soundcard portion was working as all my windows sounds were coming through my headphones out on the firstmix.

I did ALOT of research and found that it is an issue with Winows system registry preventing the MIDI device (Firstmix pro) from operating correctly. you can watch this video for the steps to fix it!! Worked for me as I followed the steps and then rebooted my PC and it now works perfectly!!!

The same thing is happening to me with a Mac Book Pro. No problems before, but its been sitting in a box for a few months unused and I just popped it in - sound card works but MIDI is unresponsive - any clues for a mac user?

have you tried the solution as mentioned above ,,,,,kinda need more info before suggesting any solutions ,, sometime saying same same is not the same so info as to set up ,,ie os ,,sound card set up and what you have tried to solve it with ,,
