Vestax VCI 400 sound problems...

Hi. New Cross DJ user here - be gentle with me

Just got a Vestax VCI 400, and can't get the sound to output properly - the lights on the main output flicker badly, and I can't get the audio to route properly (cue/master not working as they should, PFL not working at all). Wondering if it's just a case of changing the input/output routing in settings, but have tried a couple of things and they didn't seem to make any difference.

Appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Mac OSX Yosemite, Macbook Pro.

Select the 400 soundcard.
Set outputs.
Set dual stereo mode.
Mix knob fader full left to take main oit of head phone.

also note the Vestax went belly up so there is no more hardware support for their gear from them. This includes warranty
