DJ Tech CDJ-101 MIDI mapping - LED's...!!!

Postby jezzc100 on 17 Nov 2014, 19:47

Hi there,

Just starting to use Mixvibes Cross having switched over from VDJ7.

I have manually created a MIDI profile for the above controller and have managed to map (with some difficulty!!) the various functions for the play, cue, pitch slider and jog wheel. However, the LED lights on the controller do not appear to function at all... :-(

For instance, in VDJ7 when you pressed the play button the LED light would light up green indicating it was playing. Also the LED associated with cue button would blink/flash when a track had been loaded on the player, the cue point set, indicating it was ready to play (much like a Pioneer CDJ...)

I've trawled these forums searching for a solution but with no luck. Anybody got any ideas/pointers..?? I tried duplicating other MIDI controllers already with a preset within Mixvibes to see if this would makes the LED's come to life - but sadly no luck as yet.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance!!

I found the correct commands to light up your controller. All you need to do is post your current Cross MIDI map and I will modify it to make the LEDs work.
