Cross Runtime Error - pls help

could McAfee be a suspect software in this issue?

My suspect is the sound card U46MK2 not compatible with Windows 8.1
Can you try with a different sound card?

UPDATE:

Ok guys I did another recovery yesterday - did all the updates then installed 8.1 and finally installed Cross which launched ok.

I copy some music on HDD and put in to the collection - everything worked - but during analysis od 6000 files - it seems that if i look for one particular song it crash. Analysis stopped 111 files before end and now if i view this part of not analyzed tracks tracks it crashes. It seems like it is one particular track.

What now?

Actually I dont know any other DJs, and I used this card with this system for one year with no trouble.

If you upload the file to an accessible share and create a post with the link the devteam can check it out to see if they can find a way to avoid a crash.

OK - finally I narrowed it down by scrolling thru collection and taking pictures of the last 50,40,30,20 > files - I deleted it from HDD and now when I browse thru all collection its okey - I will run some test with turntables but I guess that this file was the cause of my this problem and crash.

Allways when it came to this file - which is mp4 in fact - but still I am quite curious why it happened.

Hopefuly I will able to work with everything now and I will never do another recovery until I buy MacBook

Really want you thank all guys for ur support even if this mistake was random somehow and it started working after 7th or 8th recovery.

It isn't likely you did something wrong. There exist many encoders and decoders even for same filetypes.
So it isn't typical mp4 issue.

It can also be that issue was present long time, but a new Cross feature revealed it...

Thank you guys really - It is good to have someone to relate to when u got issue and u try to do everything right.

Right now I am scratchin some cuts, so I hope it ll be OK and I ll next time be more careful when doing recovery:))
