I post all those logs, but i really cant identify my issue
Right now I cant run it on 8.0 and 8.1 too, and getting other OS is not really an option now. I am using this software a lot but I had it working on this PC

Could you try using an other program with options to set a sc.

Just like unclevibes and others using 8.1 hasn't been an issue. Not even for beta and release candidate versions.

Did you try reinstall of the soundcard and rename/remove of mixvibes.settings file. Beware that it is not removed on uninstall as it is a user file.

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

I had everything working before this recovery - but it was not first time I did it - always same way.

Lenovo Recovery Button > Factory Setting > Updates > Drivers > Install U46mk2 > newest version > Install latest Cross

Is there any difference what should I do. I have clean recovery now - computer is in factory settings as I got that first time.

I am not expert but I think that if I do all this steps SYSTEM should not be corrupted and it seems it react this way only with Cross...

Just a suggestion, in case there are corrupt system files. Try running the system file checker command:

sfc /scannow

under an elevated command line "Command Prompt (Admin)"

then run Cross after that.

That command has helped me a lot of times

I have tried that, yesterday I invited a guy who works as IT support and even him did not find the solution.

I forgot to mention that there is also McAfee preinstalled with OS.

Going back to factory settings isn't usually the way to go. Especially not when you have a branded device.
Getting back to a current situation is very time consuming. As you need to update all drivers and os every time.

Even repair of your os shouldn't be a default method.

Bsod are as mentioned in most cases driver issues. If you reinstall your laptop over and over and start setting up with Cross it is pretty logical that it repeats.

So for working on a solution it would be best to take a steady state to start with.

Make sure you applied all updates of the os by at a least running updates until no more updates can be found after rebooting.

This would also be the earliest moment for adding Cross and Cross drivers. And try connecting usb to an other port.

Have fun. ... keep smiling. .. likely we'll get you working. ..

OK I am doing this right now for 7 - 8th time this weekend I still smiling cause went to party meanwhile but still just running around clicking next and download for two days is crazy....

I have GIG next weekend so I need to get it together. I ll try to do everything once more and then install Cross.

Important question now - should i stick with 8.0 or update to 8.1 directly? In Win 8 I had Blue screen but it was working some way.
In Win 8.1 I wasnt able to even launch the software.
And what driver for U46Mk use? Asio4all is not better than driver provided here on the forum right?

Thank you guys, in some moment I felt like breaking that laptop with hammer  :)

Did you rename the settings file in (usually hidden folder) path
C: username > AppData > Roaming > Mixvibes

You get there directly by typing %appdata% in windows run/search field
Thinkpad X240, 8 Gb / 512Gb SSD
running Cross 3.4.3 64-bit
Allen & Heath K2, Pioneer DJM-450

8.1 is supported by Microsoft. 8.0 isn't.

Asio4all is a different driver. It isn't likely to cause same issue. If it does I would suspect neither of the two are involved in the root cause.

You could try running Cross via laptop sc first.

Then close Cross and try an other audio program.
Still ok then add sc driver and use the other program..

Ok again then use sc with Cross.

I would think that this scenario would pretty much show if Cross with it's sc causes it or that other causes are more likely.
