Upgradeing software on U-Mix Control Pro (1)

Postby dylan75 on 01 Oct 2014, 12:02

I am trying to upload the firware on my U-Mix Control Pro (1).

I followed instructions in the manual and source A and source B lights started flashing.

A new drive named “midiUpgDisk” came up on my system.

I dragged the U-Mix firmware onto this drive (U-Mix 1.0.3) onto my drive.

Nothing happened?

[quote]"do you see a volume panel installed in your computer ,,after installing and has the labeling for the controller been changed to asio U-Mix :?

i can see the volume control but when I drag it onto the open new drive nothing happens.. it doesn't appear to update the firmware. Its not updating?

I also don't know what you mean by labeling changed to asio U-Mix?
Note: my controller is not connecting to Cross now as I am doing teh update.

I am using OSX on my 10.8.5 on my Mac. is this compatible with the new Mac software?

 in a previous posting a screen shot of the audio panel which had direct sound ,selected ,, when you go to it and drop down for selection is the U-Mix labeled differently ,,ie asio U-Mix ,, not a mac user so not familiar with the differences if any ,, and is the volume panel short cut in you display like the screen shot i posted , getting in to un familiar areas of my knowledge for it being a mac o s ,

The volume control is showing on desktop like yours:

I cannot see the asio file that you are referring to though.

I have dragged the file onto the new midiupgdisk drive but the lights on the controller don't change?

 that how its selected ,,the orange high ligh on the mapping ,, the red off line is what you are looking at ,, if connected should be green on line and should blink while moving controls ,,
when you open Cross are you having the controller on and if not does it prompt you to connect it :?:
and in audio set up do you have the box marked ,,use m v product s at start up ticked :?:

if you mean a downloaded mapping than it should be put in a place like
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\MixVibes\Controllers\MIDI

(am also a Win user..)
The location is created by Cross (suppose also in Mac)
