Help!

Postby adamfgwelsh on 18 Jul 2014, 21:05

Hi all,

wonder if you can help. I bought an envivo USB DJ controller today and was excited to get it up and running on my mac. (Im working from a macbook which operates with OS X 10.7)

I discovered that the CD with the software on it was too small to put into my mac so endeavored to download the software online. The software is CrossDJ LE and came in the form as a zip download from this link http://www.teknihall.com/index.php?id=1522&type=777... it wouldnt download at first but managed to download it from Chrome and then lo and behold... the app wont open. The message comes up is "CrossDJ LE" can't be opened. You should move it to the trash"

I've been trying all day to get it working, would be so grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. The people at teknihall weren't helpful at all.

Cheers!

If you register your license key in your user profile you should be able to download from the downloads section at this website.

You now have entered your key. At the right of this post you should see downloads in the menu next would be to select the Cross le and then you can download.

In some occasions the registering process does not open it automatically please send a pm to unclevibes if that is the case.

Sometimes information is hard to get. In this case I only wrote forum rule 1 and 2 as you can see on top of the topic.

As you opened up more forums the search likely also will help to get replies more easy.

Don't hesitate to ask questions. Usually faster then figuring out yourself. Though we do hope you spend some time going through the manual so you have a general knowledge of what is capable of.

I've downloaded the version given to me after purchase, from email, v 3.3.10. All installed well but it wouldn't open. uninstalled, tried several times. Registered at forum, found v 3.3.11. (issue here discovered, after purchase email suggest a zip file with older version) Regardless, didn't solve it. Uninstalled, tried a few times. Reboot, etc. (uninstalled using WIndows and tried using Uninstall from MixVibes folder, after reinstall still never works). Installed free version and figured I'd upgrade from within. Free wont open.

Never an error message, no mixvibes or Cross running under task manager/processes.
I have latest version of Windows 10, updated. Intel i7 4970, 16 GB of RAM. please help, very frustrating.

The Free version is a different install mostly.
Try manually removing the mixvibes.settings file.
It's located in the folder C:/ users /username /appdata /roaming /mixvibes /
A reinstall doesn't remove the file so it has to be done manually.

Then try starting the 32bit version of Cross first. Only after checking this version out you should try the 64bit version of Cross.

Please let's know the results.

Thank you. The free trial was just a thought. There is no MixVibes folder under Users>Home>AppData>Roaming.
