Timecode CDs

Postby deltapi2000 on 11 Jun 2014, 12:16

Do I need a specific sound card to use my Cross with TimeCode CDs or Can I use SL1 Box or Tracktor Box.

I downloaded the timecodes I just want to know if I can use it with another SOUND Card box.

Thanks!

All 'normal' soundcards are supported.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Is there a tutorial on how to set up Cross with Timecoded CDs using SL 1 box, Torq box, or AUDIO 8 Traktor box? I tried to use the time coded CDS with them But they dont work. Are these "normal" sound cards?

Thanks!

What operating system are you using?

Assuming the drivers are installed correctly, how you set things up depends on whether you're using an external mixer. There are several hard-coded presets in the audio setup panel in Cross' preferences, you should find one that makes sense for your setup. Once you've done this, you can go to the Vinyl/CD panel and check "Control Deck 1" and "Control Deck 2." From there you can play the timecode on your decks to calibrate them and make sure you're getting a signal.

If you want more info I'll need more specifics.
