Finding my serial number / licence key

Not for myself - I am organised - honest!

Cross DJ 3.1.0 - click on ABOUT and it shows the licence key at the bottom.

Cross DJ 3.0.0 - it doesn't.

I'm trying to assist someone with 3.0.0 in registering on the forum so they can update etc. They don't know their serial number / licence key.

Is it stored anywhere on their computer for them to go and read it?

Just find out they are on a Mac ....

If 3.0 is the first version likely he/she has the purchase info.

If you're convinced he/she has a legal version you're credentials give access to downloads to help them out upgrading.

Next would be to have him/her brush up the user profile.

They feel legit but I'd be wary about providing unofficial access to the download. They need to find their credentials so they can register on here properly.

I found this elsewhere on this forum so shared it with them:

"When you need help to activate or reactivate your account, write to djcommunity@mixvibes.com (with details) we will see what we can do to recover your rights for support and download."

Once Cross DJ has been installed is there meant to be a way to find out the serial number used from that local machine?

I just happened to still have 3.0.0 installed so was able to compare the two and notice the difference in the 'ABOUT' sections.

Think that's a good feature ,, unless your system crashes/destroys it self ,,allows for retival if not connected to internet to get it from profile ,,

if person purched it on line thru web shop and still has email confirmation ,, this info for uncle vibes ,, pm of course ,,

and when its get sorted then double back up ,,in profile and in about ver 3.1
