djsamrties
I have addressed all the concerns listed on the table. They are included below and in a text file attachement.
Mike Fossati- I made some changes in the jog wheel/platter map, please test for pitchbend when vinyl off. I hope it works.
Also corrected the FX assign section it is all explained below and in the included text file.
3 files
1. Version 5A - manual In and out loop
2. Version 5B - increase or decrease auto loop size. no manual in or out loop.
3. text file with explanations.
djsamrties Related to items on the table
1-1 SHIFT PLAY/PAUSE
This item was not even mapped before. It is now so please test it.
1-2 Shift+CUE
Only goes back to the begining of a track. Going back to the previous track is a Serato function that is not present in Cross.
1-3 PITCH BEND with platter (Vinyl off)
Made some changes. Hopefully it works. please test.
1-10 SHIFT+SYNC
Right now sync is set up to turn on/off just by pressing sync.
The shift + sync sets the deck as master. This is the recomended Cross mapping for this function on the DDJ controller family.
I could map the set master function normally but you will loose the function from 1-1.
1-11 SHIFT+AUTO LOOP
The AUTOLOOP function is mapped to trigger a new loop according to the size specified in the auto loop section.
Shift + AUTOLOOP now turns on/off a loop if it is active or does a RELOOP which is activates a previously set loop not necesarily to the setting in the auto loop section because the size of a previously set loop can be different to the current selection in the auto loop section.
1-12 and 1-13
Current
1/2 = Halves an active loop
SHIFT+ 1/2 = Sets the in point for a manual loop
2x Doubles an active loop
Shift+ 2x = Sets the out point for a manual loop
This configuration is what the labels on the DDJ-SR calls for. This is the map on version 5A.However, I created version 5B which is mapped as follows.
1/2 = Halves an active loop
SHIFT+ 1/2 = Autoloop select decrement
2x Doubles an active loop
Shift+ 2x = Autoloop select increment
This version allows you to increase or decrease the size of the autoloop before or after is activated but you loose the manual loop in and out.
Your choice, hardware limitations allows for one or the other not both.
On the FX Assign section
The commands were solid and as they should be. However I made some mistakes in the way the LEDs respond.
I made changes to rectify those errors and made other changes.
The FX assign sections are independent of the player or channel and certainly independent of the side of the controller in which they are located.
The expected results with the new code are listed below , please test them and let meknow.
FX1 Unit assign (Left side)
Button1 = FX1 assigned source channel 1, LED 1 on, LED 2 off
S+ Button 1 = FX1 assigned source channel 3, LED 1 blinks, LED 2 off
Button 2 = FX1 assigned source channel 2, LED 2 on, LED 1 off
S+ Button 1 = FX1 assigned source channel 4, LED 2 blinks, LED 1 off
In the FX1 section Left side FX Select button #2 (designated 2-6)
FX1 is assigned source MASTER, LED for that button blinks,
LED 1 and 2 in assign section off
FX2 Unit assign (Right side)
Button 1 = FX2 assigned source channel 1, LED 1 on, LED 2 off
S+ Button 1 = FX2 assigned source channel 3, LED 1 blinks, LED 2 off
Button 2 = FX2 assigned source channel 2, LED 2 on, LED 1 off
S+ Button 1 = FX2 assigned source channel 4, LED 2 blinks, LED 1 off
In the FX2 section Right side FX Select button #2 (designated 2-6)
FX2 is assigned source MASTER, LED for that button blinks,
LED 1 and 2 in assign section off

To select FX1 and FX2 be assigned to channel 2,
press button 2 on left and right sides.
To select FX1 and FX2 be assigned to channel 3,
press S+button 1 on left and right sides.
To select FX1 and FX2 be assigned to channel 4,
press S+ button 2 on left and right sides.
To select FX1 and FX2 be assigned to channel MASTER, press FX SELCT button #2 on left and right sides.
Please remember that we are taking a controller that natively works in Serato and making it work with Cross. Not making Cross behave like Serato with this controller. Some fuctions are commom but other specially the FX section are very different. So I have mapped the FX sections to include several video titler options.
