How to enable video playback?

I believe that I have paid for the full license when I purchased the software on the app store. I did not get the free version.

I do meet all the hardware requirements as far as hardware. I just purchased the highest macbook pro 2.6Ghz proc, 16GB RAM, 1 TB hard disk and a GForce 750 2Gb video card. If it doesn't run on that I don't think I need it.

When I installed the app there was no place to put in a license and I had no license information given to me. That is why they want me to send them my receipt I guess. This is not a great business model IMHO.
I am almost at the end of my patience with this thing.

I dont have or know of anyone to contact directly about this and I have now literally spent 3 days fooling with this. I really do appreciate your help!

Unfortunately the appstore has some limitations with exchanging information. That's why you cannot be registered automatic.

I suppose the best thing to do from here:
- send a private message to UncleVibes (he has access to all)
Tell your licensekey is not recognized
Put in your purchase information (relevant info only; if not sufficient he'll ask for more)

After this your entry will be updated and you should have access to downloading the current Cross DJ version you purchased. Likely you'll notice video being there. If not, let's meet in the Cross Forum.

Sorry to read you're unable to play video.

What's your OSX version?
Because as written on the Cross DJ AppStore page (in the app description), video is only available for OSX 10.7 or higher.

Great point! Just checked and it is at 10.6.8.

Let me go ahead and do the update today and I will get back and let you know if that knocked it out.

I just bought a new Mac last night and I will try it out on that as well.

Just an update, I have installed it on the new macbook pro and it works very very well. I now have installed the plug in for the video to get rid of the watermark however the water mark remains.

Any advice? Btw, I did register my copy of this on the website.

How did you "install the plugin"?
Because, one shouldn't talk about a "plugin" anymore.
On the Mac AppStore version you have, you can't install any video plugin but you can get rid of the watermark by buying an in-app purchase (see the video preferences in Cross).

I purchased the video plug in from the mix vibes website and used the installer.

After reading your post I went and purchased the unlock in the application and everything seems to be working well. Thank you all very much for your support! The software runs beautifully on the new Macbook Pro. I will admit it was a little frustrating at times but if I am honest, I have to own it. I should have confirmed the laptop had the latest OS first! I had it set to auto update but I should have checked.

I am looking at the plug in I purchased and it looks like it has a lot of good material in it. Most stuff to play with!
