WIFI control for Cross from Cellpohne

I'm a bit confused. Is it possible to control Cross from the cellphone? (Android). If so, is it necessary for both to be on the same wifi connection? Maybe a bluetooth option?

I meant wireless, not necessarily wifi.

Cross Remote is only available for iOS (till now).

You can setup a temp wifi network between 2 devices (to avoid sharing limit that public accespoints might have)
Bluetooth has limited (reliable) range and easier disturbed.

There is something going on to use android device as MIDI controller. Not sure what the status is (think it is not by MixVibes)

You could get TouchOSC wifi MIDI app for Android and build your own remote mapping for CrossDJ. It is relatively easy.
