Tonal keys nomenclature

Postby Idan Korenblum on 20 Apr 2014, 16:53

Can anyone explain the 1A 1B 2A etc nomenclature for the keys? What is the correspondence for the Am B Cm etc nomenclature? Is there any table? Didn't find any on the manual. Is it international music jargon or a system MixVibes developed?

Also, if you are more comfortable/used to traditional key names, you can set the "key notation" setting to "classic" like I do.

Also, the 1A, 2B, ect... system is called the Camelot system and I believe was developed by Mixed in Key.

Thanks, already saw the option, just wondered about the harmonic combination. Read about it, now I know more :)
