FX button turns on after shift

Hey, I'm using DDJ-SB. After I use the shift button (even by itself) the third FX2 button lights up. It does not happen other softwares. Any ideas?

Ok, it has something to do with the "master" option. Can someone please expand on this? If this master is white it means the deck is set to master or vice versa? And, what master means exactly? Thanks again, and sorry for all the questions!

correct as in the master is set by last deck played ,,to be able to have others syc to it when you hit syc especial use full when needing to sync samples ,,,,careful sometimes the sample will become master and the track loaded in player will syc the bpm to the sample ,, sometimes not good ,,

I just realized that one of the fx button on my controller is used just to mark which player is the master.

the only question remains, in the gui, when the master is white it means it is on or off? just to be sure.

want to say yes ,,toggle it and try to syn the other player to it ,, ,, play around with your new software/hardware ,,
