2000nxs and hid.(solution/Tutorial)

Ive asked this before but frankly the support on this forum is not really that great. I bough Cross.about 3 months.ago.but.still cant use.it. I am a club DJ and play out.everyday. I cant seem to get this.hid.to work.
My previous questions never bore any fruit from this forum.

Pls.can u guys post screen shots of the setting pagesand how to set up the sound.output.

I cant find.any youtube.videos and its hard to figure out.

Please remember not.all djs are tech savy. I love rekordbox and i know its.from your lab.

If it is.at all posible, i would even like to have a web chat with support team or even let u do one of those remote assistance. I just need help. Please

Should be really easy. I plugged into some 2000nxs's at a friends house, clicked through the menus on the CDJs, and was setup. Don't remember the exact process, but I'm guessing that it's laid out in the process that Hannes pointed to.

Hey,

a short example how it works but without screenshots because I'm currently on vacation and have no Access to my Pios.

First of all install the latest Driver for you pioneers to run them with Audio.
I can't see what OS you are running so this example is for Windows. Most of it is similar to MAC.

Next you Need to plug both Pioneers with the USB cable to your Notebook and wait for the Installation.
Next start Cross and go to preferences.
Select Audio Setup -> Set Audio Device Pioneer Asio Sound Driver.
Select External Audio as Audio Routine.
Select Player 1 as Output 1 and Player 2 as Output 2.
After that press on the Pios LINK and select Cross Deck A for Player 1 and Deck B at Player 2.
Now you should be able to run them in HID and the Audio shout run over the Pios.

If you have there an Pioneer DJM900 Nexus Modell than you can also use this device as Audio device and run the Players only at HID.

It likely is a simple issue. At least for the right people.

in an other topic I noticed a question about mixer. You should select External Mixer (or some like this) in audio preferences. bottom list box.

Roject, I started a new topic because it seems like people ignore replies on older topics. Also, I typed that last reply from my phone directly at the club.

ive selected external mixer but it still doenst seem to work.

Chrstian, thanks for the reply. It seems like my issue is with the routing part of the audio. After I connected it, it doesnt seem to give me the option for the second channel. It says Input 1 and in the check box it gives me an option to select the cdj. in output 1 it oly says left /right and the same goes for the input and output 2. only thing is, when i change output 2 it change outut 1 to none.

We have a djm 900 mixer (but not nexus).

Seems like once again an Uncle comes to the rescue. I finally got it to work. I reinstalled the drivers. Also, it switched the outputs around. I couldnt figure it out before as I was live and didnt want to play with the outputs.
HID Working now. Topic can be closed. christiankoopmann s tutorial also helped a lot
