MIDI controller and video stutter

When I use a MIDI controller to fade a video sample it causes the video output to stutter. Any way to fix this? it doesn't stutter when I use my mouse scroll wheel or touchscreen.

Strange behaviour..
Could be in the mapping or in program. Could you please add info regarding MIDI device and MIDI mapping in use.

Using a korg nanokontrol 2. Will run some more tests with my other controllers and try to isolate the problem.
Here are a couple parts of the mapping file maybe you can see something wrong.
