Tracks not showing up in search

I have tracks that are clearly in playlists but I can not get them to show up in a search no matter what I do.

I am sure there is a solution, I just can't find it.

Figured it out... this may help someone else.

I have a playlist labeled "All Tracks". As I add new tracks, I need to re-add them to this playlist or they will not show up.

Will this create double entries in the "All Tracks" playlist?

if you want a track list for all tracks you better use a smartlist.
assuming you do this to have the abilty to export a playlist

if not the root of the tree provides all tracks by itself amd there would be no reason to try to maintain an all tracks list. a playlist takes any track you add; as many times as you add.

using smartlist fpr search and group usually is way easier than using playlists. unless you want to have a set in a predefined order.
