well,

my setup is:

sony vaio; win7 64bit
two numarks ttx
Vestax pmc-06 pro a mixer
soundcraft efx8 mixer

Now I connected all the cables as it is described in the manual for external mixer mode(turntable outputs to the uk46 inputs; uk46 outputs to the Vestax mixer inputs) , and I connected a cable from the mixout of the u46 to a soundcraft stereo-in.

I've only installed the u46 automatically-installing driver, no update to 3.0 because then Cross does not auto-detect the turntables. Also I've installed cross-pack 3.0, I spared the 1.6 version from the cd and only used the 3.0 update from the downloadcenter. Basically I have the same problem as heyrootsman, every time I want to load a track I get track loading error message. But the interface works, I can hear the system sounds and listen to mp3s. But not when Cross is opened. I also tried to change from u46 driver in the windows sound settings to onboard sc but that didn't work either.

so I uninstalled everything again, and installed uk46mk2 driver and Cross 1.6.1 (no updates). Now Cross autodetects my external mixer and turntables, I can also load a track without getting an error, but still it doesn't work at all. quality is at 0% as you can see in the pictures. When I hit play on the turntable, nothing happens.
