When i put a track into deck two and try to cue it up i hear nothing. Am i doing something wrong as all i do is put a track in the second deck, hit play on my controller but nothing comes through the headphones.
Very frustrating !

one last thing ,,switch the outouts having the master coming out of the usb sc and see if it playes ,,and the cue headphones come out of the on board sc ,, if this doesnt work then its defenetly the usb sc ,, by the screen shot the set up is correct ,, also havve you check the volume on the gui ,, should be up ,, trying to ellimiuate the obvious a multi channel sc is the perfered method ,, but resolving this will illimate issues thats not resolved when you get the sc ,,

Hi,
I won't get into the whole serial number discussion as I (luckily) have nothing to do with that.
When I look at the controller, I wonder what purpose the extra USB soundcard is supposed to have.
It looks to me like the controller has a headphone cue hook-up that should let you pre-fader listen (cue) on your headphones.
You'd need to set the sound out to have two outgoing stereo signals (ch1 and ch2). On your controller you then use the cue level and ch1/ch2 cue balance knobs on the front of your controller to listen to the incoming track.
Greetinx.
<Update: There seems to be another Envivo USB Controller (also know as the SLIM USB Controller). This one doesn't have all the fancy headphone stuff.>
p.s. Since the cue signal is not going into seperate cue circuitry (it looks to me like the headphone just picks up the sound prefader permanently, no cue button) and the ch1/ch2 just determines how much of either signal is routed to your headphone. If I am correct in this assumption, then Cross should be sending deck 1 output to soundcard channel 1 and deck 2 to soundcard channel 2 and no cue signal. The controller will just play whatever is playing on the deck, no cueing in Cross is involved.
<Last update: Just to make sure that there is no misunderstanding. I am suggesting to NOT connect the external USB soundcard, as it has no purpose and will only trouble the PC. If hooked up correctly, the cueing should be able on the controller.
