Re: Used Cross for the first time - WOW, but... a few things

For beat mix orientated style Cross has by far the best beatgrid I've experienced. I practically beat mix everything, be it EDM/indie rock/reggae. For cut mixing an auto cue cannot work as it's all about beat detection. Perhaps an option skip the auto cue and force start a song at 0:00 wouldn't be too hard to implement at some. Or if we got a new MIDI command that would jump track to 0:00 that could be used in together with track load function (as a macro command, guess we'll be getting those sometime too).

Ability to set Cue to t=0 would also be great for soundeffects.

It's become a habit to the do this by hand; just as tuning the track gain. As pretty often soundeffects are handed just before a stage performance, I know it can be done quickly, but...

In the same circumstance it is really convenient to have the 'Auto' message clearly exposed. There is no need to be in Autoplay screen when running in autoplay. It is a nice way to have audio for the crowd and meanwhile create a playlist(/prepare) for the gig.
Also the same position is used for 'Line In'. Really convenient to notice at the blink of an eye.
When in 'mini-player' mode it is great to see this at the same position. You instantly know why a track does not load (if in autoplay)...
It took a few versions to evolve to how it is now...
