How to import tracks to Cross DJ 3.0. from an old version?

Postby kalamocha dj on 16 Jan 2014, 23:35

Hello, in previous updates, the program recognize the tracks with the marks or hot cues, and the changes in the pulsations.

When I install the new version of Cross DJ 3.0., it not recognize me the tracks as other updates. And analize all the tracks without my previous marks and changes of the pulsations.

Is there any chance for the program to recognize the previous marks and pulsations of the tracks i had analized?

Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Hi,

This is not an aimed behavior and it seems you are not the only one having this issue (cf viewtopic.php?f=358&t=31591).

We'll look into it, and try to understand if it's a user or a program issue. We'll let you know.

Cheers,

I have already solved the problem, you have to go to menu--> collection--> collection open and look which is activated in the previous version and saves all changes made previously.
Then change preferences of analysis only with peaks.
And so are all the tracks with all the changes and hot cues.
Thanks everybody for your help.

Do you mean Cross DJ 3.0 did not open the correct collection file ...?

i think it's because some of us use a different collection file (not the default main.crossdb). when i installed 3.0, it defaulted to the "main" collection file.

i did what kalamocha DJ outlined in the previous post: opened the last-used collection file and re-analysed peaks. although the process took a few hours (4500+ tracks on an i5), i did not encounter any problems at all.

I think it's like kugmo said. When i start using the program I create a new collection named todo en general (all in spanish) and after analize every track.
