Cross Freezing

I'm having alot of freezing in Cross ,i have macbook pro 2.0 i7 4Giga ram,and 4000 track in my collection ? Why is this happening?

great machine for Cross, so what is freezing and when does it happen? Any hickups in audio while freezing?

the freezing start when i open Cross and start browseing between playlists and loading tracks and no hickups in audio while freezing but it happens everytime its so annoying

SSD or hard drive ? Internal or External ?

I have similar setup than yours and I didn't notice anything like lagging or freezing

No SSD i have Ext HD 1 Terra and int HD i ll try next time to remove the ext hd and test it thx 4 reply

this could very well be related to sleeping issues. you could search for optimize topics. for speedy access hdd should not sleep at all. external hdd is best at disabled powersave for device and usbport. avoid usb hub for external hdd so all power and throughput is audio file.

i didnt hook the ext HD to my lap top and Cross still freezing really dunno why !!! there is only my internal HD it is 500 GIGA only 350 GIGa used of it !!

Guys Cross 2.6 is still freezing everytime i scroll in the collection or playlists or when i load music into Decks and my ext HDD is not connected so dunno maybe its a bug in the software !! i have around 5000 track in my collection

By "freezing" you mean "graphical slow down" (especially seen on the waveform) ?
Because, even if it's not comfortable at all, it might happen on track load but doesn't mean Cross is gonna crash.

However, it's not supposed to happen when browsing the collection, except maybe if you browse your HDD from Cross.

What could help us understand your issue would be a small video showing it. Would it be possible?
You can also try the latest Cross 3.0 RC and let us know how it goes.
