Im sure . . . I basically practice and after about 15 or 20 songs it crashes . . . but like i said 2 videos and sample decks running & using effects . Basically the music bars on the decks start freezing & moving before it crashes .
I personally feel that Cross is too heavy and our laptops are not able to handle all the audio n video with effects at the same time.
FYI . . I had bought Virtual DJ when version 6 & 7 were there. The same thing happened with freezing & only now they have joined hands with another company & re done the engine to use only 1 bar of CPU . Good for them … but they r not pro in audio… trust me . Video is good though with CLIP BANKS n EFECTS. . . Otherwise all CRAP.Its ok for private gigs not pro levels.
Also did u see the coloured wave forms in VDJ … Are they gone nuts to put such silly colours . . . Too too bright ( Hurts the eyes ) . . Even Serato is ok . . not great but Traktor ( SPECTRUM Colours ) are great.
I think u guys should tie up with Sound Spectrum for automatic visuals & bring in pro quality Effects in Audio n Video . I had sent a post on this earlier.
Do u recall Cross having 2 small spinning dials on top like sera to . . That looked so good . . Try putting spinning dials . or have a skin like so .. created.
