Hey Ya'll,
I'm currently trying to run Cross DJ 2.6 on Win8 with 8 gigs of ram and an intel i7. Using a Mixtrack Pro for controller. Music will run smoothly for awhile, but it usually starts to get laggy/scratchy when I load a new track to the other deck or start playing another track or really any sort of multi tasking. Does anyone have any possibilities to try troubleshooting this? I don't even know if it's my computer, controller, or what exactly. Any suggestions would be great. This is so frustrating.
Thanks

Here are some things to try to isolate the problem. Run Cross without the controller, in internal mode. Do this for a while, and report back if the issues that you are reporting occur while in internal mode without the controller.
So I realized that the scratchiness only comes through output 1 (my computer speakers). Output 2 (cueing into headphones) sounds fine. I am using asio4all. Does this indicate that the problem lies with my computer? Or asio? I have no idea.

Hey,
what OS are you using exactly? Windows 8 64 or 32bit? and what soundcards are you using in Asio4All? It could be that you run one of the soundcards out of it's typical functionallity (too small timings and so on) and this causes sound issues. also give us some more details about where you store your files and is the GUI allways freezing when you load a track, are all files analysied? And my final question: What i7 model have you? special the clock of it?
regards Christian

Windows8 64 bit, standard issue soundcard. files are stored in iTunes. gui doesn't actually freeze, it's only the sound that gets messed up. i7 3537-u...2.00 ghz 2.50 ghz. thanks so much guys

re read the postings ,,laggy ieone souncard lagging behind the other causing a slight echo effect .. as said switch sc postions and see if it moves ,,the lag is caused by different sc ,,similiar if listening too two t v in different rooms ,,same channel but sounds are slightly off to each other ,,no cure for that ,,thats is in the speed of the sc ,,,,the scratcy is caused by to low a latency in the card that acting up ,,, play around wih the settings ,, to find a better out put sound ,, if none solve the problem them it will be nessary to get a multi channel sc to run your program
