Bad format

Downloaded v2.6 onto a windows 8 system and keep getting the bad format message "error opening speakers"

The laptop is a Toshiba AMD EI-12000APU with Radeon Graphics 1.40ghz 64 bit system

Hey,

please check if the audio device you have set at Cross (DJ) is free to use. In windows there is an exclusive mode for audio devices which means that only one application has the right to use it at the time. So please check if this is windows and deselect this prio option. You can do this at the audio setup of Windows. (click right on the windows audio icon at the task bar and set playback audio and than go to the device like primary audio device and press options and than deselect the one application right.)
