before i try, lets define tag for me.

Tags are just the info of the track yes?
song name, artist, album, genre, bitrate, date, etc.

am i correct?
if that is the case, when you say that mixvibes doesnt read aiff tags, shouldnt that mean i cant read any of those information stated above?

Clearly i must be misunderstanding something because i can see all my "tags", other than my album art.

You import the tracks into Cross from the iTunes tab though, correct?

If you do, Cross is reading the data from iTunes, not from the file tag.

If don't import from iTunes, and are directly importing from a non-iTunes file such as a folder import, you are breaking the time-space continuum. If and only if your files are in WAV or AIFF.

Indeed, you are misunderstanding.

First I maybe should have used the word "metadata" instead of "tag", both meaning all additional data in an audio file that aren't audio data.

Second, the "tags" you can see do not come from the file metadata but from the information stored in the iTunes xml file.

Hope this is clearer now.

Indeed, I appreciate the mature manner that everyone has on this community. I truly appreciate it.

Now I was merely miseducated from my own researches, etc. I am well educated by you fine sirs (ladies if i am being ignorant). Do moderators need to manually close a thread? or just let it slowly sift through all the posts over time?
